LONDON -- Japan and the U.K. are set to launch an economic version of a "two-plus-two" dialogue -- a regular meeting of foreign and trade ministers -- amid growing concerns over the possibility that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will impose high tariffs.
Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and his British counterpart, Keir Starmer, will meet in Rio de Janeiro, where the Group of 20 summit will start on Monday, as the two countries aim to establish the bilateral economic dialogue, according to government officials from both countries.
