JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia -- Japan and Saudi Arabia on Sunday agreed to launch a strategic dialogue between foreign ministers that will cover a wide range of issues, from national security to the economy.

Arriving in Saudi Arabia as his first stop on a three-day Middle East tour, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Sunday met with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
