TOKYO -- Japan will provide support for remote medical care in Palau by helping the Pacific island country build a high-speed telecommunication network for health care providers, Nikkei has learned.
Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will begin accepting bids in the near future from companies for a test project in Palau. The ministry will subsidize part of the costs of the project.
