Japan vows $5.7m aid to Mauritius for disaster preparedness

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Japan will extend 600 million yen ($5.76 million) in grant aid to Mauritius to help its efforts to boost disaster risk reduction, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said Sunday during a visit to the African island nation.
