PARIS -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron worked to showcase a bilateral partnership as Paris played host to the Indian leader at the Bastille Day celebration on Friday.

The two countries are negotiating defense, space and nuclear energy deals expected to be announced during Modi's visit.
