YANGON/BANGKOK -- Myanmar's military government is preparing to set up a security company with China to protect Chinese ventures from rebel attacks, a senior government official said, in the latest sign of growing cooperation between the two countries.
A committee has been set up to prepare for the launch, according to the official, who said the idea was proposed by the Chinese side.
