SEOUL -- The joint military exercises by the U.S. and South Korea are "undisguised nuclear war drills" designed to infringe upon North Korea's sovereignty, the country's National Defense Commission said Monday, sparking concerns of potential missile launches, cyberattacks and terror strikes on key infrastructure by Pyongyang.
The commission also threatened to launch an "indiscriminate nuclear strike" in its statement, published by the Korean Central News Agency, North Korea's state news agency.
