WASHINGTON/BEIJING -- U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held his first in-person meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday, and suggested that a summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping is likely this year.

"The odds are high," Rubio told reporters after the meeting in Kuala Lumpur. "I think both sides want to see it happen."
