SINGAPORE -- Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida wants greater cooperation with Singapore on regional security and defense, he told counterpart Lee Hsien Loong in a meeting here Friday.
Kishida outlined his government's security policy to Lee, who expressed his hopes for Tokyo's role in the region, according to a readout of their meeting from the Japanese side.
