SEOUL -- The Federation of Korean Industries will propose regular business summits to promote cooperation with its American and Japanese counterparts, the South Korean group's head said Thursday.

Chairman Jin Roy Ryu told reporters that the FKI aims to hold the meetings in partnership with the Japan Business Federation, or Keidanren, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The events would bring business leaders together to collaborate in advanced industries, energy infrastructure, and solutions to supply chain challenges.
