5 Chinese missiles land in Japan's EEZ: defense chief

TOKYO -- Five ballistic missiles fired by China on Thursday appear to have landed in Japan's exclusive economic zone, Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi told reporters.

This is the first time that Chinese missiles have fallen into Japan's EEZ, Kishi said in a news conference at the Defense Ministry here.
