TAIPEI -- China sent a daily record number of warplanes near Taiwan as it announced the end of three days of military drills.
A total of 91 aircraft were spotted operating around Taiwan in the 24 hours through 6 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense.
