SYDNEY -- Taiwan's chief representative in New Zealand told Nikkei Asia that New Zealand is leaning more toward like-minded countries in its stance on the Taiwan issue.

The chief diplomat, Joanne Ou, said in a recent online interview that she was "seeing New Zealand coming a little more forward to be more in line with the rest of democracies, especially in assessing the challenges" of the Indo-Pacific.
