HONG KONG -- U.S. tech giant Microsoft is no longer providing office software applications, including email services, to Chinese genetic research company BGI Genomics, Nikkei Asia has learned.

A number of Office 365 services, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams are no longer accessible to BGI employees, according to multiple employees and a screenshot of an internal email sent on Thursday and reviewed by Nikkei Asia.
