WASHINGTON -- Revelations that Chinese hackers have accessed Japanese defense secrets are causing concern in the U.S., which is poised to share more defense-related information with its Asian ally.

Chinese cyberattacks on key infrastructure that could hinder response times during crisis is a separate concern. Washington has warned allies to bolster digital defenses.
