NEW YORK -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Thursday added more Chinese companies to its Entity List, including CETC Chip Technology, one of the country’s largest military vendors.
Thirty-seven companies were added to the trade restriction list, including Beijing Academy of Quantum Information Sciences, Shanghai Center for Quantum Science Research and several other high tech research institutes that fall under the state-owned China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC).
