Leawood, KANSAS -- In the wake of China's threatening behavior following U.S House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan in early August, officials from countries including the U.S., Japan and Lithuania have streamed through Taipei to show their support.

Taiwan's government has said China's aggression has boosted international sympathy for the democracy of 23 million people. Among the more notable examples is Ukraine.
