Chinese president implies further support but avoids direct mention of iconic canal

PHNOM PENH -- Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Cambodia on Thursday, calling for solidarity and cooperation with one of its strongest allies in Southeast Asia.

In a sea of flags and flowers, Xi was greeted on the tarmac by King Norodom Sihamoni and former Prime Minister, now Senate President Hun Sen.
