SHANGHAI -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday met top U.S. business executives before holding talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, as Beijing courts foreign investment and tries to stave off capital flight.

Xi took a photo with the U.S. group before proceeding to a meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing where he told attendees that both China and the U.S. were inseparable, according to national broadcaster CCTV.
