Japan Inc. signs on to Saudis' quest for diversified economy

TOKYO -- The first visit to Japan by a Saudi king in 46 years this week led to Japanese companies signing memorandums of understanding on 20 projects, but it remains to be seen how many of those undertakings will actually blossom in the desert nation.
