TOKYO -- Support for Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's cabinet dropped to a new low in the latest Nikkei/TV Tokyo poll.

The cabinet's approval rating stood at 25%, down three points from May, according to the survey conducted from Friday to Sunday. It marked a low for a government that launched in October 2021. Disapproval was 67%, the same as in the May survey.
