TOKYO -- Japan's Ministry of Defense is drafting a new set of guidelines requiring contractors to institute comprehensive cybersecurity protocols to protect military secrets from hackers.
The document, which will touch on over 100 points, will be adopted as early as this year, with plans to force contractors into compliance over several years.
