Malaysian political parties see young voters as decisive in polls

Almost a third of voters eligible for the Nov. 19 national polls are under 30

KUALA LUMPUR -- Over 21 million voters will decide who rules Malaysia for the next five years in the general election on Nov. 19.

The election will be open to over 6 million voters under the age of 30, meaning the political parties and candidates cannot ignore the aspirations and demands of the younger generation.
