KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia's anti-graft agency detained a former chief executive of 1Malaysia Development Berhad on Tuesday as part of the ongoing probe into the scandal-tainted state fund.

Arul Kanda will be charged with former Prime Minister Najib Razak on Wednesday for their roles in allegedly tampering with 1MDB's audit report, according to Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission.
