Malaysians to vote on Nov. 19 for next government

PUTRAJAYA -- Malaysians will go to the polls on Nov. 19 to determine their government for the next five years, the country's Election Commission announced on Thursday, as the country is eager to conclude the election before anticipated monsoon-triggered floods.

Commission Chairman Abdul Ghani Salleh said about 21.17 million voters are eligible to cast votes in the country's 15th federal polls since independence.
