ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan's government is ramping up its battle to quash support for jailed ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan with a rarely used legal weapon that could push his party into the political wilderness.
After crushing mass protests led by Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) near Islamabad last week, officials are now moving to boot it from office in stronghold Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
