ISLAMABAD -- Pakistani authorities have arrested more than a dozen leaders of the main opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in an unprecedented crackdown on the party of imprisoned ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The mass arrests Monday evening and Tuesday morning saw most of the politicians -- including party Chairman Gohar Khan -- arrested at the parliament building in Islamabad, moves the PTI blasted as "#UndeclaredMartialLaw" on its official account on X, formerly Twitter.
