MANILA -- Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the son and namesake of the late dictator, got a boost in his bid to become the Philippines' next president in the May 9 election after being endorsed by the political party of the still-popular President Rodrigo Duterte.
"We are endorsing the candidacy of Bongbong Marcos for president," PDP-Laban President and Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi said in a press conference, using the candidate's nickname.
