MANILA -- Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the son and namesake of the late Philippine dictator, has firmed up his lead in the latest opinion poll as he vies to replace President Rodrigo Duterte, whose daughter is now the front-runner for vice president in elections coming in May.
Marcos scored 53% in a survey by independent polling outfit Pulse Asia from Dec. 1 to Dec. 6, the first major poll to be conducted after parties changed candidates last month.
