MANILA -- A week after a landslide election win, presumptive Philippine president Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is visiting Australia for a "much-needed vacation" with family, his spokesperson Victor Rodriguez told reporters on Tuesday.
Marcos is on a "private trip" and he will return on Thursday," Rodriguez said. "They just want to enjoy the remaining days of being private citizens before President Bongbong formally and officially assumes office as the leader of the country."
