MANILA -- The Philippines' election commission is coming under increased scrutiny over much-anticipated decisions on cases seeking to exclude front-runner Ferdinand Marcos Jr. from the presidential election in May.

Multiple disqualification cases are hanging over Marcos's presidential bid, which is part of his family's political comeback after the 1986 "People Power" revolt that toppled his late father and forced them into exile.
