SINGAPORE -- Indonesia's new president, Prabowo Subianto, has stepped into office enjoying a better impression from the investor class compared to the start of the transition period earlier this year.
Prabowo is Indonesia's eighth president, succeeding the 10-year term of his predecessor Joko "Jokowi" Widodo. Around the time Prabowo was elected in February, many in the financial markets voiced skepticism over his fiscal agenda.
