Raj Kumar Sharma -- Joining SCO a mixed bag for India

As the Shanghai Cooperation Organization ends its 15th year, India inched closer to joining the Eurasian political organization at the recently concluded Tashkent annual summit. India and Pakistan's SCO memberships were approved at the Ufa summit last year, but accession takes awhile. Nearly three dozen documents must be signed by the two countries before they can join.
