TOKYO -- Japanese politicians of all stripes shared their thoughts on former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's legacy ahead of Saturday's one-year anniversary of his fatal shooting.

"I have served in my position with the desire to address one by one issues that cannot be put aside, for the purpose of honoring Mr. Abe's last wishes," current Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said to reporters on Friday at his office here.
