SINGAPORE -- Opposition parties are ramping up their push against Singapore's long-ruling People's Action Party ahead of a high-stakes general election on May 3, seeking to build on momentum from their record gains in the previous polls.
The Workers' Party, the largest opposition that won a record 10 seats in the 2020 general election, unveiled its manifesto on Thursday, pledging to strengthen checks and balances in parliament and push for greater transparency.
