SINGAPORE -- Singapore's prime minister on Wednesday announced the formation of a committee to review the city-state's electoral borders, sparking speculation he could call a general election in the coming months.
"I have convened the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC) today," Lawrence Wong, who was sworn in as Singapore's fourth head of government last May, wrote on Facebook. "I look forward to the committee's report and its recommendations in due course."
