SEOUL -- South Korea's Constitutional Court on Monday started its review of President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment, paving the way for a ruling to decide his fate within six months, as turmoil rocked his ruling party with the resignation of its leader.
Six court justices agreed to convene the first hearing on the case on Dec. 27 after holding their first meeting since the National Assembly filed it on Saturday night after passing the impeachment motion with 204 votes, just over the two-thirds requirement, or 200 of the 300-member legislature.
