SEOUL/TOKYO -- Embattled South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol early Wednesday reversed his declaration of martial law after the National Assembly voted to overturn the move in a night of political crisis.

Troops enforcing martial law have withdrawn, Yoon told the nation.
