SEOUL -- Ruling and opposition parties in South Korea are at odds over filling vacancies on the court that will hold President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment trial.

Three of the Constitutional Court's nine seats are now empty. The vacancies are for justices who would be nominated by the National Assembly and then appointed by the president.
