SEOUL -- South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday called for real-time nuclear and missile information sharing with Japan and the U.S. as Seoul marked the country's Liberation Day.

Yoon said that South Korea, Japan and the U.S. share universal values such as commitment to freedom, democracy and the rules-based international order and must work together to guard against the threat posed by nuclear-armed North Korea.
