BANGKOK -- Thais will cast their ballots on Sunday for general elections that will determine the Southeast Asian nation's next government.

Since the lower house was dissolved on March 20, political parties and their prime minister candidates have actively campaigned to gain support from the country's over 52 million eligible voters.
