BANGKOK -- Thailand's Senate and House of Representatives will convene jointly on July 13 to elect a prime minister, newly elected House Speaker Wan Muhamad Noor Matha confirmed on Friday after he and his deputies were approved by King Maha Vajiralongkorn.
If no candidate wins a majority on the first vote, a second round of voting will be scheduled on July 19.
