BANGKOK -- Thailand's Constitutional Court will rule Wednesday on the legality of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha's residency in a house at an army base.

Prayuth is expected to lose his post as the country's leader if the court rules against him, while a verdict in favor of the prime minister would escalate tensions with youth-led pro-democracy protesters who have called for his resignation. The ruling is expected around 3 p.m.
