SYDNEY -- Tuvalu voters cast their ballots Friday in an election that could shape the future of a security agreement with Australia to allow citizens from the small Pacific nation to migrate, as climate change threatens their home.

Eligible citizens in the country of 11,000 were voting to choose representatives for the 16-member parliament, split between eight constituencies. There were 32 candidates, with two incumbents running unopposed.
