TOKYO -- An auditorium at the Tokyo campus of Temple University was filled on Wednesday with the excited babble of students at a viewing event for the U.S. presidential election.

More than 100 Gen Zers -- many American, but also from Japan and various other Asian nations -- watched a CBS broadcast on the election for six hours from early results through to Fox News calling the key swing state of Pennsylvania for Republican Party candidate Donald Trump.
