NEW YORK -- U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said she will lower costs for the middle class and provide incentives for American entrepreneurship and manufacturing to compete with China, outlining her economic agenda Wednesday in a critical battleground state.

"Leading the world in the industries of the future and making sure America, not China, wins the competition for the 21st century" together form a key pillar of what the Democratic presidential candidate dubbed "the opportunity economy" in a speech at the Economic Club of Pittsburgh.
