CHICAGO -- U.S. President Joe Biden passed the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris in a 50-minute speech to the Democratic National Convention on Monday, saying that choosing her as his running mate in 2020 was "the best decision I made in my whole career."
Biden, speaking on the first day of the party gathering in Chicago, commended Harris' toughness, experience and integrity, joking that "like many of our best presidents, she was also a vice president."
