WASHINGTON -- Eager to glean insights into former President Donald Trump's latest world view, foreign policy analysts in Washington are poring over the transcript of the Republican presidential candidate's conversation with Tesla CEO Elon Musk earlier this week.

The interview, hosted on Musk's social media platform X with no time constraints, gave Trump a rare opportunity to delve into his views on war and how to prevent it.
