WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Joe Biden welcomed Donald Trump back to the White House in a cordial meeting on Wednesday, congratulating him on his win in the presidential election.

"Mr. President-elect, former president, Donald, congratulations," Biden told Trump, seated in front of a roaring fire in the Oval Office's fireplace.
