US, Japan, South Korea foreign ministers to affirm alliance

Allies seek unity against North Korea

TOKYO -- The U.S., Japan and South Korea will reaffirm their three-way partnership as a cornerstone of East Asian diplomacy when the three nations' top diplomats meet on the sidelines of a G-20 foreign ministers meeting this week.

The three countries and China may also hold rounds of bilateral talks during the event in Bonn, Germany, on Thursday and Friday.
